Use NinjaBuy in ChatGPT and Claude

Connect NinjaBuy to your AI assistant to make NinjaBuy links, see how they do, and tell us what you need.

NinjaBuy has a connector for AI assistants. Once it's connected, your assistant works with your NinjaBuy account, and every link it makes credits you. It can:

  • Make links. Give it Taobao, Tmall, Weidian or 1688 product links, product links from other shopping agents, their short links, a Weidian shop, or any NinjaBuy page (a product, a seller, a finds sheet, a search). It hands back a NinjaBuy link for each, up to 100 per request. A link it can't read comes back with a note saying why.
  • Name them. Add a campaign (for example spring-haul) to group a batch, and a label (for example "bio link") to tell one link from another. The same page under a different campaign or label gets its own link; asking again with the same ones gives you the same link.
  • Make a lot at once. More than 100 links (up to 2,000) run as a job in the background: your assistant gets a job id, checks back until it's done, then reads the same links it would have got one request at a time.
  • Show how they're doing. Your links, newest first, with clicks, sign-ups and orders: the same figures as your links page on NinjaBuy. It can also list your jobs (batches of links, sheets you pasted on NinjaBuy) and how far each has got.
  • Learn how NinjaBuy works. It can read our guides on how links credit you, which links we read, and how to turn finds into posts.
  • Pass on feedback. Questions, problems and feature requests go straight to the NinjaBuy team.

The connector is in beta. If it can't do something you need, ask your assistant to send us feedback: that is how we decide what to add next.

Connect it

You sign in with your normal NinjaBuy phone number. The connector address is:

https://www.ninjabuy.com/mcp

Claude

  1. Open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the address above and add it.
  3. Sign in with your NinjaBuy phone number when prompted, then choose Allow access on the NinjaBuy approval screen.

ChatGPT

  1. Turn on developer mode in Settings, then add a custom MCP server (under plugins or connectors, depending on your plan).
  2. Paste the address above and choose OAuth as the sign-in method.
  3. Sign in with your NinjaBuy phone number when prompted, then choose Allow access on the NinjaBuy approval screen.

Menu names change as the assistants update; look for "custom connector" or "custom MCP server".

Claude Code and other command-line assistants

claude mcp add --transport http ninjabuy https://www.ninjabuy.com/mcp

The first call opens the NinjaBuy sign-in in your browser, then an approval screen. A sign-in lasts a while and then asks again; that is normal.

The approval screen shows the app's name and the address it will send you back to. Only allow an app you just asked to connect; choose Don't allow otherwise. You approve each app once.

Using NinjaBuy through an assistant costs you nothing extra: links, stats and docs are free, the same as on the site.

What to ask

  • "Convert these Taobao links to NinjaBuy links: …"
  • "Make NinjaBuy links for these 20 products under the campaign spring-haul, and label them 'video 3'."
  • "Make a NinjaBuy link to this seller's page: …"
  • "Which of my NinjaBuy links got the most clicks this month?"
  • "Tell NinjaBuy I'd like links for a whole sheet at once."

Use it with a Google Sheet

The connector doesn't convert a Google Sheet by itself yet. Two ways to get NinjaBuy links into one:

  • Paste the sheet on ninjabuy.com. Paste the sheet's link into the search bar and NinjaBuy builds its own copy of your finds; see Shop from a Google Sheet.
  • Let your assistant do it. If your assistant also has a Google Drive or Sheets connector, ask it to read the column of product links, make NinjaBuy links for them, and write those links into a new column.

A Sheets formula that makes NinjaBuy links isn't available yet.

What your assistant gets

  • Only what you ask it to send (links, a campaign or label, feedback) and NinjaBuy's answers go back and forth: your links and their click, sign-up and order counts, never who clicked.
  • NinjaBuy never sees your chat with the assistant.

More in the Privacy Policy.

Disconnect

Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. Sign-ins also expire on their own: access lasts 1 hour and is renewed for up to 7 days, after which you sign in again.
